Key Tasks & Responsibilities

As a Supply & Logistics Intern at UNICEF Cameroon, you will be entrusted with responsibilities that directly support the operations and goals of the supply unit. Here’s what your day-to-day may involve:

🔹 Procurement & Logistics Support

  • Assist in procurement activities including bid opening, recording, and evaluation of supplier offers.

  • Prepare and maintain bid opening minutes and procurement records.

  • Facilitate communication between procurement analysts and vendors for clarification, compliance, and documentation purposes.

🔹 Electronic File Management

  • Maintain electronic filing of purchase orders, supplier records, quotations, contracts, and delivery notes, ensuring alignment with UNICEF standards.

  • Archive supporting documentation for audits and compliance checks.

🔹 Stock & Delivery Monitoring

  • Track and monitor samples submitted by suppliers, verifying conditions and specifications.

  • Verify the consistency between purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes, including checking quantities, unit prices, and item descriptions before financial certifications.

🔹 Administrative & Communication Duties

  • Draft meeting notes, summaries, and feedback documents following internal or supplier-related discussions.

  • Represent the unit in internal sessions and contribute to logistics and procurement documentation.

🔹 Other Duties

  • Support ad hoc requests and perform other administrative and technical tasks that help the logistics unit operate efficiently.

    • Business Administration

    • Or any other relevant field.
