Launched in 2016, the WTO Young Professionals Programme helps build the next generation of international trade experts by giving early-career professionals practical exposure to the work of the World Trade Organization.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be a national of a WTO member country.
- Hold an advanced university degree in law, economics, or another international trade-related discipline relevant to WTO work.
- Have at least two years of relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in international trade and commitment to WTO-related work.
- Be fluent in English.
- Knowledge of French or Spanish is considered an advantage.
- Be 32 years of age or younger at the expected programme start date.
Preference is given to candidates from WTO members that are underrepresented at the professional level within the WTO Secretariat.
