The one-year, team-based fellowship focuses on strengthening nurse-led innovation, leadership development, and healthcare improvement. The programme is designed for Chief Nursing Officers (CNOs), nurse executives, and senior nursing leaders working to improve healthcare environments for both nurses and patients.

Fellowship Structure and Training
The programme combines virtual learning with in-person experiences, bringing together nurse leaders from 14 healthcare systems to develop innovative approaches to healthcare challenges.

Strategic leadership
The innovation curriculum is delivered alongside leadership development through Penn Nursing and Wharton Executive Education. At the end of the programme, fellows present their innovation solutions with the goal of implementing them within their healthcare systems.
