Radboud Scholarship Programme 2027/28
Radboud University is accepting applications for its 2027/2028 Radboud Scholarship Programme, which supports talented and highly motivated students from non-EU/non-EEA countries.
The scholarship is available for eligible English-taught Master’s programmes at Radboud University, except Erasmus Mundus and joint-degree Master’s programmes.
Up to 26 scholarships are available for the 2027/28 academic year.
What the Scholarship Covers
The Radboud Scholarship is a partial scholarship. For 2027/28, the tuition fee is reduced to €2,771, subject to confirmation, instead of the regular fee of around €19,000 depending on the programme.
The scholarship also covers costs related to:
- Visa
- Residence permit
- Health insurance
- Liability insurance through Aon Student Insurance
Living and study costs in the Netherlands are not covered.

Who Can Apply?
Applicants must, among other requirements:
- Hold a non-EU/non-EEA passport.
- Have obtained or expect to obtain a Bachelor’s degree outside the Netherlands.
- Not have previously received a degree or education in the Netherlands, subject to the stated exchange-programme exception.
- Meet the English-language requirements of their chosen Master’s programme.
- Be fully admitted to an eligible English-taught Master’s programme starting 1 September 2027.
- Meet the requirements for obtaining a Dutch visa.
- Enrol as a full-time Master’s student at Radboud University.
How to Apply
Applicants must first apply for admission to an eligible Master’s programme through the OSIRIS Application system.
During the admission application, applicants can indicate that they wish to apply for the Radboud Scholarship. They will then be asked to provide two reference letters and a CV.
Admission to a Master’s programme does not automatically mean that the applicant will receive the scholarship. Admission and scholarship selection are separate processes.

Important Deadlines
There are two important application dates:
31 January 2027 at 23:59 CET: Master’s application must be submitted in OSIRIS.
14 February 2027 at 23:59 CET: The complete application must be submitted. Incomplete applications will not be considered for the scholarship.
Radboud University recommends submitting proof of English proficiency before the 14 February deadline.
Scholarship decisions are expected before mid-April 2027, although the date is subject to change.
