Tasks
The Campaigns Intern will:
- Provide research support for campaign strategy development, focusing on areas like labor rights, corporate accountability, fossil fuel divestment, and humanitarian crises.
- Assist in the planning and execution of events, stunts, and outreach efforts, including festivals, webinars, and other organizing initiatives.
- Support the recruitment and training of volunteers for the Oxfam Action Network for an Equal Future, a grassroots base advocating for progressive policy changes.
- Help manage the Sisters on the Planet Ambassadors program, a network of women leaders advocating for climate and gender justice.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, note-taking during campaign meetings, and organizing campaign materials.
- Assist with Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) processes by tracking activities, managing data, and creating dashboards to summarize the team’s impact.
- Support content development for communications, mass emails, social media outreach, and internal newsletters.
- Organize campaign knowledge repositories and update internal folders, calendars, and briefing materials.
- Provide general support to Campaigns Department staff across different projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
Education and Certification
- Currently pursuing or holding an undergraduate degree or higher in Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations, Environmental Studies, Communications, or related fields.
- Comparable work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Experience
- Demonstrated interest or background in advocacy, organizing, or policy efforts.
- Previous experience with administrative or research-related tasks preferred.
- Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, Zoom, and online databases is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Additional Information
