Tasks

As an Associate PSP Officer (AI Developer), you will be responsible for advancing the analytical capabilities of the Global Analyst Team. Your main objective is to use artificial intelligence to improve fundraising strategies and outcomes. Below are the key responsibilities:

  • AI Model Development: Design, develop, and deploy AI models to analyze fundraising data and identify trends.
  • Machine Learning Integration: Implement machine learning algorithms to improve the efficiency and accuracy of PSP operations.
  • Workflow Enhancement: Work alongside data scientists and analysts to incorporate AI into existing workflows.
  • Data Analysis: Use AI tools to derive actionable insights from complex and large datasets.
  • Reporting and Visualization: Create detailed reports and visual representations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Model Monitoring: Continuously evaluate and fine-tune AI models for optimal performance.
  • Team Collaboration: Liaise with the Global Analyst Team to understand analytical needs and provide tailored AI solutions.
  • Training and Support: Offer technical support and conduct training sessions for team members on AI tools and techniques.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Partner with other PSP units to ensure AI initiatives align with broader organizational objectives.

Your work will be closely monitored through a structured performance evaluation system. You’ll engage in weekly check-ins, monthly progress reports, and a comprehensive end-of-assignment review to ensure alignment with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).

Qualifications

Education and Certification

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a closely related field.

Experience

Applicants should meet the following experience criteria:

  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience. Candidates with a master’s degree require only 2 years of experience.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based AI and ML services such as Azure Machine Learning or Google Vertex AI.
  • Proven track record in developing, training, and deploying AI models.
  • Proficiency in integrating machine learning models into larger systems using APIs.
  • Strong understanding of cloud services, particularly Azure or GCP.
  • Experience in containerization, scripting, and orchestration technologies.

Key Competencies

  • Proficient in Python and other relevant programming languages.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Azure tools (Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Data Factory) or GCP tools (Vertex AI, Cloud AI Platform, Dataflow).
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data storage solutions like Azure Blob Storage and Google Cloud Storage.
  • Understanding of MLOps tools and methodologies such as MLflow and Kubeflow.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Determination to meet deadlines and achieve project goals.

  • Languages: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
  • Work Arrangement: This is a home-based, full-time position. Working hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
