UNICEF is inviting applications for a 14-month consultancy in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, focused on the revision of Multilingual Education (MLE) teaching and learning materials using the Early Grade Learning (EGL) approach.
The consultant will help review and revise curricula, instructional materials, teacher resources and student learning materials for Indigenous children. The work covers Vernacular Language (L1), Social Studies and Science for the first three grades of primary school.

Experience in curriculum development, teaching and learning materials, learning assessments and working with Indigenous ethnic minority communities is relevant. Experience with UN agencies, NGOs or development partners is an advantage.
Skills and Languages
Candidates should have knowledge of Cambodia’s education sector, primary education curriculum, EGL initiatives and MLE approaches.
Strong communication, coordination, planning, monitoring and reporting skills are required.
Language requirements: Fluency in written and spoken Khmer and English. Knowledge of Indigenous languages spoken in Cambodia is an asset.
