Background & Job Description

The United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) is seeking a Housing Policy Analysis and Reporting Specialist for its Canada Office in Montreal. The position is initially offered for six months, with a possibility of extension based on performance.

Experience producing policy briefs, analytical reports, technical notes, case studies and research publications is required. Strong analytical, writing and editorial skills are also expected.

Experience with housing policies in Canada, OECD countries or other international contexts, as well as stakeholder consultations and knowledge dissemination, is desirable.

Languages

Fluency in spoken and written English is required. Proficiency or fluency in French is highly desirable.
