CESVI is accepting applications for a Protection Specialist to support its humanitarian protection programmes across multiple countries. The position offers the flexibility to work remotely or from CESVI headquarters while providing technical support to country teams operating in Sudan, Myanmar, Ukraine, Venezuela, and Zimbabwe.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Support the design and implementation of General Protection, Child Protection, and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) programmes.
- Provide technical guidance on case management systems.
- Develop and update protection guidelines, SOPs, and operational tools.
- Strengthen Cash for Protection programming.
- Deliver training, coaching, and mentoring for country teams.
- Conduct protection assessments and risk analyses.
- Promote protection mainstreaming across Health, WASH, Shelter, Livelihoods, and Climate Change programmes.
- Coordinate with protection managers, humanitarian clusters, and local partners.
- Support proposal development, donor reporting, monitoring, and evaluation activities.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, PSEAH, child protection, and GBV standards.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Law, International Development, Gender Studies, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in humanitarian protection.
- At least three years of experience working with an international NGO or United Nations agency.
- Strong experience in GBV, child protection, or humanitarian case management.
- Experience working with displaced populations and complex emergencies.
- Experience facilitating capacity-building workshops and training.
- Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently under pressure.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with the following will have an advantage:
- Experience responding to humanitarian emergencies.
- Knowledge of another UN official language.
